Under the aegis of Mahavir International, in the leadership of Mr. Subhash Kumbhat, a Siliguri based philanthropist, this ambitious project was taken up on a three acre plot in Katamtalla, near Siliguri , to accomodate the destitute old people, who do not have shelter or assistance from thier kins.

As second and third phase these activities will be extended to young destitute children and widows.
