He realised that the inherited British education system did little to the betterment of rural India, where the needs of school going children were not met and ill-adapted education was doing hardly any benefit to their daily lives. This was leading to more juvinile dilinquency culminating into a criminal society, where responsibility towards each other had become the last priority. This set his convictions that either the vedic education of ancient India or the modern American system to meet the growing demands of globalisation with apptitudinal approach, will be better equipped to help build the modern India, where the young citizens will be of use to the society. This inspired us to form a body, which will work towards this goal and help build a better society for our modern India. Hence this Indus Foundation. |
